Our Story
Black Kings Travel was born out of a simple but persistent frustration.
There were very few spaces where Black men, regardless of background, could come together to travel the world with intention. Too often, travel spaces felt chaotic, performative, or lacking depth. The opportunity for real connection, shared growth, and mutual respect was missing. We believed Black men deserved something better.
So we started small.
Planning for our first group trip began in 2021. In November 2022, Black Kings Travel officially took its first journey together on a group cruise. A small group of men, most of whom had never met, came together after connecting through Facebook. That initial experience confirmed what we believed from the beginning. Black men were looking for community, not just trips.
Shortly after, the Black Kings Travel Facebook group was created. Friends invited friends, conversations deepened, and the brotherhood began to take shape.
In the early days, Black Kings Travel was primarily social. We were building connections, learning one another, and proving that a space like this was needed.
Even then, it was clear that Black men were searching for a travel community they could not find elsewhere. A place that felt affirming, grounded, and intentional.
As our trips continued, something began to shift.
The men who traveled with us asked for more. More depth. More intention. More structure. They were not looking for mess or chaos. They were looking for a home. They wanted elevated experiences, meaningful conversations, and a brotherhood where they could enjoy life without compromise. Many shared that Black Kings Travel was what they had been searching for and that they finally felt they belong.

That feedback changed everything.
Black Kings Travel began to evolve from simply booking trips into building a brand rooted in brotherhood, accountability, and excellence. We became more intentional about how we moved, how we gathered, and how we showed up for one another. A clear standard was set. This is not a free for all. This is not trend following. This is a space built with purpose.
At its core, brotherhood at Black Kings Travel means choosing presence over ego, truth over silence, and responsibility over excuses.
It means checking in before the crisis, listening without judgment, and holding one another accountable with compassion. It means understanding that healing, growth, and legacy are not built alone, but together.
As we enter our fifth year, Black Kings Travel continues to grow into what it was always meant to be. A global brotherhood where Black men can travel with intention, build real relationships, and return to their communities strengthened and empowered.
When a man experiences Black Kings Travel, the feeling is clear.
I found my people.
I found my travel group.
I belong here.
And that is the story we are still writing together.
